Captain Christopher Nervik

Captain Nervik began his Law Enforcement career in 1990 and is a graduate of the 96th New Hampshire Police Academy . He has been with the Milford Police Department since 1993 serving as a patrol officer for seven years. In 2000, Captain Nervik was promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant. While serving in this capacity, he was a member of the department’s Technical Accident Reconstruction Team and had oversight of the Field Training Program for new officers.

In 2005 Captain Nervik was promoted to the position of Support Division Commander, and reports directly to the Chief of Police. He assists the Chief of Police in strategic planning for the Police Department as well as other administrative functions.  Captain Nervik oversees the Legal Division, Detective’s Division, School Resource Program, Juvenile Services Program, Training, Hiring Process, Community Relations Programs, and is responsible for the Support Division budget. He holds an Associates Degree in Business Science, and is certified in Accident Reconstruction, Police Photography, and Police Prosecution.

Captain Nervik is married and has four children. He is active in his local church and enjoys being a part of the Milford Community. Captain Nervik also participates in various sports activities and enjoys traveling with his family.
