Pipeline Information *Updated 11-23-2015


     Two of the Milford Board of Selectmen met with representatives of Kinder Morgan to understand what they wanted.  The Board of Selectmen has asked Kinder Morgan to make a public presentation to the Board of Selectmen in early January; this presentation will be televised so that the town can understand what the project is.  This is just the beginning of at least a year long process.   The pipeline goes through 17 towns in Southern NH and there will be public hearings and open houses, one of which is planned for Mid-January in Milfo


Snow Removal Parking Ban

The Snow Removal Parking Ban system will be operational each year from November 15th through the following April 15th.  When winter weather conditions are predicted in that timeframe, appropriate town personnel will evaluate the forecast each day and consider if any clean up measures may be needed overnight.  If it is determined that clean up will be required during that following night the Snow Removal Winter Parking Ban (the Ban) will be put into effect.


Anticipated Schedule for the 2015 Elm Street Storm Sewer Replacement

11/16 to 11/17 - Temporary Man Hole, 60-LF of pipe - No Traffic control required (within site)
11/18 to 11/20 & 11/23 to 11/25 - MH-1, 65-LF of pipe & MH-2 - One Lane Traffic Control crossing Elm Street, both lanes re-opened at night.
11/30 to 12/4 - CB-1, 55-LF of pipe - Cottage Street Closed during working hours, re-opened at night
12/7 to 12/9 - 4" Binder Pavement Restoration - Cottage Street Closed & One Lane Traffic Control crossing Elm Street, both lanes re-opened at night.


NRPC Survey

The Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) is currently working with the Nashua Transit System to complete a long-term transit capital investment plan for the region. Part of this planning effort will evaluate the feasibility of extending transit service to surrounding communities and destinations. Invitation to Bid

The Milford Police Department is seeking proposals from area automotive/mechanical establishments interested in providing fleet maintenance for the police vehicles in Milford, NH in 2016. This contract would include routine maintenance, repairs and emergency service.

2015 Planning Board Distinguished Site Award
