“In 2013 the Milford Planning Board undertook the stated goal in the Milford Master Plan to ‘reevaluate the 2005 BROX Community Lands Master Plan to reflect projected changes in community facility needs’ (Chapter 3, Community Facilities, 2007). A seven member ad-hoc committee was appointed by the Planning Board to initiate the task of updating the 2005 Plan. The Committee utilized the 2005 BROX Community Land Master Plan Study, its associated conceptual plan, and prior studies and reports as baseline information.
Water expands as it freezes and puts tremendous pressure inside household plumbing regardless if made of metal or plastic. The expansion of water can cause pipes to break. Most frozen pipes have been exposed to severe cold, like outdoor spigots, water supply pipes in unheated interior areas like basements and crawl spaces, attics, garages or kitchen cabinets. Pipes that run against exterior walls that have little or no insulation are also subject to freezing.
While our crews are always watching for road issues (i.e., pot holes, road debris, signs etc.) we don’t always find them all. Please help us catch the ones we have missed. Report

The Milford Planning Board has completed a regulatory audit of the Town’s Zoning Ordinance and Development Regulations. The purpose of this audit, was to assess how consistent existing regulations are with implementing the vision and action program identified in the 2010 Housing Chapter of the Milford Master Plan.
